August 1, 2016 Monday
Today my mother could take her bath without the support of oxygen.
Just imagine what it is like to gasp for every breath you have to take.
To support your Electron Transport Chain in order to generate the
vital ATP molecule in all the cells.
Today was our first victory in the Session Court No 29.
Justice Satavdekar rejected the bail of all the 5 accused.
We do not yet have the court order but my father reported it as
"strong".
This will help our advocates when on Friday the 5th, it will be the
turn of bail hearing of Sanjay Ramniklal Veera.
Had the 5 accused got the bail today, his advocate would have had
a lethal weapon to defend the orchestrator and the chieftain of the
whole show.
Unit 1,50,000 eV of which only 75,000 eV (non effective hearing) has been utilized since we did not have to appeal to the High Court.
The war against the evil has only begun to heat up.
Bedtime Story.
Lead has the highest atomic number of any non radioactive element.
(Even though there are 2 lighter elements who are radioactive, and they are technetium and promethium).
The number of protons that the lead has within its nucleus is a magical one.
It is not magical in the way the world at large takes the word magic for.
This term magic number for a specific number of protons or neutrons within the atomic nucleus was coined by a man who was born in Budapest, Austria-Hungary (political geography is like sand dunes of Sahara) of 1902.
He was born as Wigner Jeno Pal to middle class Jewish parents (his father was a humble leather tanner, a job that is restricted to Dalit and Moslems in India).
He had an elder and a younger sister.
The younger sister would later on go on to wed the strangest theoretical physicist Paul Dirac.
In his secondary school which was called Fasori Evangelikus Gimnazium was another brilliant boy just a year behind him.
This other boy was Janos von Neumann on whom i did a bed-time story
mainly concerning his work on logic and computing machines.
Both these brilliant boys who had developed strong interest in mathematics greatly benefited from the tutelage of Laszlo Ratz.
Wigner's family was Jewish but did not follow religious customs;
Wigner himself was an atheist.
Wigner later moved to Berlin and enrolled himself in the Technical University of Berlin.
Over there on Wednesdays he would attend afternoon colloquia of the German Physical Society.
Here he came across top notch luminaries of the physics world like Max Planck, Werner Heisenberg, Wolfgang Pauli, Max von Laue, Rudolf Ladenburg, Walther Nernst and our dear old Albert Einstein.
Over there in Berlin he also befriended Leo Szilard, another remarkable mind in the annals of human history.
In Berlin, he met his second greatest mentor after Laszlo Ratz, and that the polymath Michael Polanyi on whom I shall narrate in some good time.
Such was the intellectual wealth of Germany in the early 1900s;
All this wealth was lost to America under the blitzkrieg of Hitler's fascism in 1930s and 40s.

Good night mon ami and my fellow cousin ape.
